Indian Rojak at Taman Bahagia

Well, I've been told that the Rojak at Taman Bahagia is brilliant by a friend of mine which i met at the Bus station.. I've been dying to try it since then and finally I got the chance when I had a to change my bus at Taman Bahagian the other day after my gym session...

Its located exactly opposite the Taman Bahagia LRT station, just next to the small park.. If you see the Train station on your right, then the park is on your left.... its a small Lorry as shown below.. so anyways, I didn't had the chance to sit down and eat it cause I need to catch my ride home so I had a take away... but you can sit down, relax and enjoy your rojak and Chendul ( which is a local kinda dessert (shaved ice on a variety of mixture of peas and nuts)... anyways... I took it home and attacked it straight away...

compared to the SS15 Rojak, this is way out of the league... Portion wise, Its a drastic difference... and the taste.. this one taste nothing but salty and not even spicy enough.. the ingredient is not up to standard.. the ones which is suppose to be crispy, isn't and the tofu is really hard....

so, your choice... whether to give it a shot or just go for the one at subang ss15 which I've posted up in my previous log... I would say this is only 1*

Media Corp Malaysia....

well, it was quite a disappointment for this case... cause I didn't know that they were shooting the same drama as the one I've acted in before... "My Destiny" as the waiter... and so... I went all the way to Maluri, Cheras.. I did my make up at the Media Corp Studios with Sister Keng, a local veteran artist... and after I done my makeup.. we took their ride to the kajang hospital where they shoot the days episode...

when I reach the site, some of the crew were shocked to find me there and asked what I was doing there... so I told them that I was there for the role as the doc... and they were taken aback... I asked whether its the same drama.. and "yes!" was the reply... lol... so I didn't know what to do.. but they asked me to carry on.. with doubt in their face...

anyways, I didn't made the shots due to my role in the last scene was too obvious... so... they gave me a round to play around in their costume... and I managed to took couple of shots in em... and confused some of the patient into thinking that im a surgern and some veteran doc thinking that Im a new doc in the hospital... muahahahahaha.... (Evil Laugh)...

oh... another thing.... I always do my homework before any of my shootings... and I can totally memorize the dialogues.... even in chinese... bt please give me in pinyin ya... lol...

snails anyone?? emm.. these r not ur french snails o..

its definitely not escargot, and im not too sure whether its edible... lol.. anyways.. I got the shock of my life.. emm... well, not really... just wanna make it sound dramatic.. thats all... oh.. anyways... well, as I went down to KL to buy my hairspray.. in Sungai wang... thats the place where you can get cheap hairspray and well, all those salon equipments and stuff... so I got hungry halfway through... and I went to the top floor to fill up the tank... I walked into the carpark look alike food court and the 1st thing I did was to check out which unit have the best film on tv... and well, I choose the 1st stall to the left cause they were playing Rob-o-hood by Jacky Chan..

I had a look at the food dish selections and took Baby kailan and potatoes.... paid RM4 with my drink... took my plate to the table just in front of the tv and start chewing away.... half way through.... I saw something out of the ordinary.. picked it out and ... emm... well... its a snail... obviously... they didn't clean the vege properly.... so anyways... it was nothing.. so i finish my meal and that is my last visit to that stall... :S

so If you don't mind having snails or other emm... extra ingredient in your meal... u can visit this stall :P its the one on the far left among all the economy fast food stalls... :) or just don't pick these kinda vegetables... Good luck...... food wise...... 1 1/2 *

Claypot dishes anyone?

Well, I was down down couple of days ago... and I was walking about in Ampang Park... sounds lots like hyde park... lol... anyways... the weather is hilarious... cause its been raining a lot lately... anyways... If you take a train or sort... just get off at Ampang Park station of the Rapid KL (kelana Jaya line) and walk towards this building called Ampang Plaza which was formerly known as Plaza Yow Chuan .... well, its very noticable with the "Gold Gym" signage at the curb of the sidewalk... Its actually situated at Jalan Tun Razak, KL.

anyways... just enter the building and take an escalater down and head towars the lower groundfloor.. you will never miss the foodcourt.... I've yet to try any of the other food around... but I heard a great deal regarding the Claypot rice dish and so.. I head towards it straight away..

Its called A1 Claypot House right at the corner of the lot.. there are couple of dishes here... there are serving rice on the left and noodles on the right.. I bet the noodle is very good since the queue was too much for my empty stomach to wait on.... so I head to the rice station and ordered a Chicken claypot rice... the initial price is RM4.70... with the addition of the veges, its not RM5... so.. just add the vege anyways since a lot of us usually don have greens in our diet... lol...

well, All I can say bout the claypot rice is... GO FOR IT!! the portion is really something compared to any other RM5 dish in KL... its very filling.. the rice is not too sloggish and not too hard... the sauce is salty and mix well with the rice creating a tasty chewable rice.. the chicken is smooth and not too dry... well, proves that its freshly cooked chicken and not overnight dish.. the vege... well, just look at the pic.. look at the amount... so.. if you have not try the claypot rice here... you ain't taste claypot... lol...

Delicious Ramli Burgers...

Well, after my gym session... I took the bus to go home as usual.. bt today... while I was in a bus, I met an old lady.. who lives near SS5D/6... for 40 years... Its a place just behind the Giant Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya... anyways... She told me that the burger was delicious and .... well, i weren't suppose to have burger right after my gym session... by my taste bud tells me to... so.. anyways... u know what happened after that....

Bang, Bagi saya Banjo 1.... Banjo is an egg burger which is very popular here in malaysia... cost around RM1.50 throughout Malaysia.. if yours cost more... just complain... lol... anyways.. the location is just behind the Giant Kelana Jaya... you can come in through the Kelana Jaya post office junction or the UNITAR junction... head towards the smaller Giant... and you can actually see a KFC here.. its just opposite the road... they will be there every night... so come to try it...

the eggs is well cooked.. not too cooked actually... its top wit soy sauce, mayo and chilli.. and the usual vege.. like cabbage and onions... its not too soaked with the sauce and you can sit down to enjoy the burger... worth a try... I'd say.... 3* ...

There are lots of stalls here.. some in a lorry.. there is a stuffed tofu stall down the street...

Life Drawing Modeling

230808 - I was down at my college to day.. due to my casting... like I said in my previous log... its just next to my college... I was almost locked out cause they installed this intelligent device which needs your finger print to unlock the door... I've not input mine.. lol... so Pin Eng appeared out of no where and I was being let in... muahahahaha.... anyways.. as we were chatting... Nicola.. our lecturer suddenly asked me whether Im free for the day.. and I told her till 4:30pm... so she asked me whether Im interested to model for the class contour drawing.. So I was asked to do a 15 minute pose, then 10, 5, 2, 1 and a quick action pose.. gosh.. now I know how aching it is to the muscles when you try to hang on to a pose for long period without moving... lol but It was definitely a great experience...

Crumpler Fux Deluxe - My Baby

Gosh... I've been dying for a CRUMPLER since I saw it in London... the craze, the obsession... the lust for a Crumpler.... seriously... it can be a cult... and I just found my love... and its the 24L Fux Deluxe... its completely water resistant... just imagine.. water resistant.. And I tested it today under the rain... unintentionally... and It PROVEN!! by Me... :P Im waiting for the bucket to arrive... I've checked with the store.. its coming in next month... Around RM199... its kinda like its accessory... to partition the space inside... there are two compartment now.. a zipper side pouch and a large 20L space... its huge... if you are a traveller.... get a crumpler... wont regret it... trust me... you will grow to love your crumpler..

this baby of mine cost RM385 and I can tell you, its totally worth it.. now I can bring one bag and stuff my bottle, tripod and camera, my sketch books and couple of changings... and its totally useful when I go for my shootings... usually they require me to bring a couple of changings and my previous bag was stuffed til bloated... lol... so..... 5* buy...

Scam Report....

220808 - well, today I went to a casting call and like the header of my log, I would like to warn all talents and artists to beware of these fraud company... they would ask you to pay money for having your profile as their record. But look at it this way... when they use you for their client, they get commission out of your pay... If they are a successful and popular talent agency among the clients and have a great record, would they need your pesky little RM10 - 15?? Its kinda of a earn money scam whereby even if they don't have any jobs at hand, they would not suffer the lack of funding.. lets say, you pay RM10 and so did 100 others who went just to have their pics taken and profile jot down.. they would make Rm1000 in a day.. and lets say it went on for a month, and tat made them $31000 richer in that month without even have to push the market. and lets just say, if they did.. and offered 1 out of the 3100 talents who paid the RM10 got a job which pays RM1000.. and lets just say, they get a 15% commission out of it.. which is RM150.. that makes them RM 31150 richer for that month and the rest of the 3099 talents RM10 poorer. they have nothing to lose... only saliva for entertaining you...

I went to one casting agency who calls themselves as a production house.. No names here, so Im going to call them S production... who so happens to be just next to my college at Jalan Yap Kwan Seng's Megan Avenue 2.... the funny thing is that they are exactly the next block to my college in Block A.... lol... so... I went in, they passed me a form asking me to fill in so I did until the last page where it was handwritten "all talents must pay RM15 for the casting processing" obviously, I didn't sign it.

(Never sign until you are being assured of anything)

I went to the rude receptionist and asked for the reason to the payment. she said its nothing and asked me to sign. I demanded for the reason before I sign. And she told me that she will asked her superior. After a couple of minutes, she surfaced again and told me that her superior will speak to me but asked me to just sign..(Look at how eager they are trying to get me to sign it)... of course, I rejected it and asked to be briefed before hand. I was called in and I shot her my questions.. She told me that its a procedure as they are the talents agency for the S production. And guess what, its the same company who has a department being separated out just so they can tell the talents that they are the talents supplier for the S production and they are called the S talents. The reason as to why they are charging the RM15 is because they are using "PROFESSIONAL CASTING PEOPLE" to cast you and take your casting pictures. How does these people define CASTING PROFESSIONALS? is there a degree or even a master for these field? have they gone through it if so happens there is these course out there.. :) and so, I thank them politely for their time and bid everyone goodbye...

as I sat at the MAMAK stall nearby, I spotted the couple of malay boys who went to the casting right after I left... when asked, they were told to pay RM1000++ -_-||| and I asked how they came to know of this company... they told me that they were being approached by a guy while walking in KL who offered them to be an actor or model... and pass them a form to fill in and asked them to come to their office.. and of course, I asked them to sit down and shared my experience and gave them advices on dealing with these ppl... sigh... well, speaking of which... I was being racial discriminated when I walked into this Malay office up till the point they want me to pay.. the white teeth started showing... and when i didn't wanna pay.. they insulted me not face front bt with sarcarsm... Please... I've never look down on any race due to the color of their skin... I only ignore and avoid ppl individually for the things they have done... Im always here to help.. if you try to exploit me or take advantage of me... "BYE" is the only word you will hear from me everytime we meet... oh.. i'll throw in "HI" as well if you would prefer.. :P and "MONEY" is definitely not the issue I'll approach you so please.. respect yourself and stop buying my friendship... its priceless... "Can you afford it?"

and since I talking bout racial issue... come on guys, whats wrong with you all... can't you all just get along well?? You want me to call for "ZOHAN" is it?? lol... this is real life experience... Went to a stall... I talk politely to one race and they were extremely rude to me when they took my order... after they were done.. another one of the customer from the same race shouted at him rudely "Oi!! come take my order!" waved furociously with lots of rude guesture... and they walk up to them and take their order patiently... "OI!! you want me to be rude is it..!! Im trying to be nice here ok!!" so....

Appreciate it or GET F***ED by your own race and swallow it down like a nice little P***Y...

Im not pinpointing at a particular race here.. it happens in all sorta restaurants, all sorta race... I love all sorta food so Im always in all sorta different type of restaurants... come on... let the lovely food be the path to our unity...

Chinese New Year Concert at NZX

Well, as u can see.. this is a log from months ago... emm... my bad... its a log on months ago news.. lol... well, Since NZX ... Niu Zhe Xui... muahahaha... speaking of which... one of my friend had this real life joke... months ago... He came over to NZX with another friend... and out of the sudden.. another one of his friend called him and asked him where he was... so he told him in "NZX" of course.. since the marketing for the place was bad.. no one knew... and so he told him in chinese... "Niu Zhe Xui"... and still confused.. and asked for the English name... and again he said it in chinese pronounciation with a little english slang... lol... and his friend thought he was playing around and demanded a straight answer... and my friend said... "come on over and you will see that Im not joking around.... cause its really called "Niu Zhe Xui" in english... lol... direct translation... muahahahahaha.....

anyways.... Well, its a ghost town here... no one comes here cause the location is not strategic.. no bus passes here and if you are not living here... you won't know it.. cause its really deep within the housing area... I wonder whose smart idea it was to build it there.... lol... So.. if there is no function or event.. its always empty...

anyways.... so... I was wondering about aimlessly with my friend and suddenly saw a massive crowd flocking the area and stages were being constructed and stuff... so we decided to stop by and have a look.. out of curiosity... and I found out that there will be a concert that night by hong kong artist.. and they are selling the Chinese NEw year goods... no wonder... Told my friends that I wanted to go home to grab my slr to snap some shots... cause im a curious little kid mah... lol.... and we did... came back for a couple of shots and wonder about while my friends browse for CNY goods.. and we left for dinner...

when we came back... I notice the rain clouds closing in... and I suspect its about to rain... I went in and took a few shots before the thunder strike and lightning roared... and raindrops started pouring in like waterfalls.... everyone was running about and Yet... I managed to take couple of shots... lol... the concert was ruined by the heavy downpour.. and guess what.. everytime they have a concert... it rains every single time.. up till now... lol
