The Summit

It was in November 2007. After 9 years I left Subang, I took my 1st step into Summit, Subang. I remembered back in 1998, or was it 99. can't remember, anyways, the summit just opened and it was clean and empty. I only went there because of the one shop inside. there was a comic house there and I was staying at USJ then. So I usually walked to summit to visit that shop. but this trip down, the whole place totally changed. Its very dirty, dark and well, not the best sight. I wonder why all malaysian shopping complex get worst along the years. They never upgrade it nor do they try to maintain it. most probably its because more shopping malls are being build and people here are realist who goes for the latest. that pretty sad. But i did enjoy my trip down with my Best friend's little Brother who calls himself the "GTA" - Great Teacher Ah Chung. which I like to tease him bout it and calls him "Great Teacher Ahgua" anyways, it was fun hanging out with him but i did most of the crazy stuff and crack most of the jokes to keep us laughing. Can't wait till he comes down again so I can tease him and drives him up the walls... lol...
Take bout appetite! Don't zoom in!! - just be imaginative. the piece which looks like an artificial dry meat
is in fact a...... take a wild guess!!

Modelling

Wonder if I have what it takes to be a model? Well, height is absolutely my greatest challenge.. standing at 5'7". But I'm not giving up just because of that. Well, I'm going to try some casting agency with these pictures.. what do u think?

Perspective

I've not done any perspective drawings since 2000. But getting back at it is kinda fun don't u think. especially when i am not allowed to use any ruler. Its kinda like a life drawing perspective. pretty fun if u call it... but kinda frustrating cause u got to be really exact on the lines...

Drunk

21-12-07 (Friday) - Well, Today's the day where everyone is overly excited. 1st was Jo'ana's surprise visit. She told me she couldn't come but ended up flying over. Heman and her planned to try to capture my shock facial reaction but they didn't managed. Then it was the Raggae Pub, Petaling Street. My 2nd time getting drunk but only Heman was from the 1st batch who ever saw me drunk. Thye Sing, Tian Yu, and Aaron Sitai are not here. So practically, its the 1st experience for everyone there. I promised Jo'ana to let her see me drunk at least once & everyone knows that I don't take alcohol.

Right, and I have the nerves to try a Flaming Lamborghini one shot. accompanied with Orange mixed with vodka (can't remember the name) which I shared with Jo'ana. and one other shot of some drink. I got really drunk after that and started smiling and laughing. Everyone took pictures of me. I think thats the main purpose they wanted to get me drunk. Every time I drink, you can see a group of people surrounding me and cheering on. I didn't get a hung over the next day, instead woke up at 7am with aching arms. But the experience is a totally foreign and new to me. At age 27, I'm just like a big kid. lol

Prepraring 4 Christmas at Sunway Pyramid

If you walk down to any shopping complex, just get ready to be enticed by the beauty of the decorations. Just make sure all of you bring your cameras along. Well, I committed the worst mistakes of course, that is to leave my SLR at home every time I heads out. Well, I can't be blame since Im still in college and yesterday I just struggled through Malaysian Studies final exam. And I passed. Thank God.

Having my holidays now and although I would love to hibernate through it but, Its almost impossible with the assignments given. anyways, here are some of the pictures taken with my friends in Sunway Pyramid.

Sunway Pyramid's Jusco food court Special Service

I've went to tons of Food court and by far today's the worst of all. Ivy, a friend of mine whom we met when I was traveling in UK decided to meet up at Sunway Pyramid to discuss bout some documentations. She just came back from UK and its actually a great experience to meet up with friends whom we met overseas while traveling. So we decided to sit down somewhere to have our dinner. My best friend, Heman told me bout the food court and well, I'm kinda down on my budget cause of my education fees. so we head there without hesitation. Its amazing how pack the place is or maybe because everyone is budget conscience as I do. So we walked about looking for a place to settle down. All we can find is a 2 joint table which is left uncleaned. So we sat and my friend went to look for a cleaner, well actually 2 who eventually never turn up. So I took the initiative to go and look for one to clean but I was given the shrug by him and he walked off without answering me. So I told myself to give him chance of just being in a bad mood (NOT) and will return to find my table cleaned. To my not so surprise, the table is still in the same condition. So I went and approach another cleaner and make sure he listen to what I have to say and yet.... see for yourself....

This is the scenery up till we leave the table

These are the table surrounding us

Finally, a cleaner cleaning the (refer above - right table) for a Malay family

The Special Service by the Jusco Food Court is what we call the Malaysian MOST EFFICIENT customer service. I definitely won't visit this food court twice.

Wacom Graphire 4

I'm kinda spending a bomb for my studies. well, u know what they say, Design course is extremely expensive. lol. compared to the business studies or engineering school we have to buy more props and stationaries. I bought a RM130 HP printer which is fairly sufficient for my little printing purposes. Now I've got the wacom graphire 4 tablet. I've got an oem set which cost me RM235. The price is quite reasonable actually. since I won't be needing the software bundles so I decided to go for the Oem set. Here is how mine looks like....

The wacom Graphire 4

As usual, I went about to look for a reasonable priced item. Previously, I searched around the Digital Mall at subang ss14, then I went down to Lau Yat Plaza and finally got mine at Imbi Plaza. If any of you are looking for a Wacom Tablet, get it at Imbi Plaza Lower Ground Floor, Jayacom. They gave me the best offer and I am quite satisfied with the price. Personally, I love it but, I'm still trying to get used to it. Lucky I decided to get it for my next semester subject. If I were to start learning next sem, I would have to waste numerous days to get used to it. So its a worthwhile investment.

illegal or not illegal parkings?

14-12-07, Fri - at 12:30pm, I started my journey down towards college since the lecturer postponed the class till the afternoon session at 2pm. I thought I would have sufficient time to reach college and still have minutes left for me to settle down and cool down. The bus was late as usual and it was about to rain. There was not bus stop shelter and we were only protected from the nature above by a few trees which survived the development process. and not to forget the band of monkeys living above. The thunder was loud and there were signs of a storm coming. I prayed to the Lord Jesus that He would hold the rain up till the bus comes. And Praise God it did. I hop onto the bus and paid my fare. but to my surprise the bus driver halted there and went to buy bananas. So we had a long 5 minutes wait and the rest of the other passengers tried to entertain themselves with the monkeys by the roadside. After the driver came back, he threw a few bananas to the monkeys just to impress the girls in the bus before he proceed his journey "FINALLY"

I started sketching in the bus but was really a pukish experience. I got a bit giddy cause of the motion sickness caused by the moving bus. So i decided to take a short nap up till the bus suddenly hits on the brakes. I woke up and found a long stretch of cars parked by the road side. Its quite a normal sight in west Malaysia but the fact that its a 2 land road converted into a 3/4 road due to the cars parked doubled by the road side is a raging insanity. The bus can't moved and couldn't reverse because there were cars behind. So we had to wait a F***ing 1/2 an hour there. Where are the traffic police with the summons? Why aren't these people fine for illegal parking which cause traffic congestion. I took some shots to prove them.

So where do you think all this is happening in Malaysia?

Monday Blues

Today's really a slow day... Both in class and well, in class. Practically, I started class at 10am till 8pm due to the replacement class. here is one example of how my classmates sleep in class....

VJ & Nicholas

Sometimes its really a little dramatic. Kids nowadays.. hahaha... as if I lost the kiddie inside of me. My dad always say I never grew up cause I watch too much cartoon. well, its not true, its cause I choose to be the little boy. Cartoon has nothing to do with it all. In fact, I have to watch and analyze them to learn different style of drawings. Being the 27 yrs old me now seemed to appreciate education more than the me back then in high school. I'm glad that I'm back to college to get that diploma of mine.

As I was doing my Malaysian Studies assignment, I find it hard to balance between opinion and reasoning. Because I know what is going on and not just me who knows. And Malaysia is so smart by including this subject into our program which in return inflict confusion and stress into the mindset of the young college students. I mean why does Malaysia include this program and state that all Malaysian must take it when they know all Malaysians knows Malaysian history. Ahhh... Have you ever wonder why it is so? I have but I think its just my opinion... Seriously, I have to crack my mind to think of things to write which will not cause another May 13 incident to occur. Another question, do you think HINDRAF is connected to the terrorist? Thats a big joke in my opinion. Lets just hope the Malaysian government won't direct the terrorist attention here by accusingly linking them to the Indians here.

Ghostly Christmas at Pavilion, KL (I)

I was down in KL minding my own business with couple of my friends trying to shop inside Pavilion. and I can tell you that Pavilion is a place where not everyone is suitable. Pop in and have a look at all the stores inside. You will have to make a million a month in order to shop inside. lol. Anyways, what a bummer that I've forgotten to bring my SLR along. Like 1st there is this tall tower of human Christmas tree carol and then there is this costume rally outside. I've took some snaps with my trusteed sony errisson K800i. I enjoyed a lot. Now it makes me wonder whether I loved the crowds or not? I used to hate squeezing into a concert or a club... a whole new me to discover again...

enjoy the pictures... :)
