National Film of Malaysia "Gov' Awareness Trailers"

060309 - 070309 I was having a shoot with our "Filem Negara Malaysia" working on their Trailers.. the 1st day, we were shooting beside the KLCC road just outside the Yap Kwan Seng. and the 2nd day we had to travel for 2 hrs just to shoot at a Fishing Village inside Lorong Parit 3, Lembah Selangor. The area is really secluded. Was quite dirty but well, the air is fresh.. apart from the salted fish smell... the rest is quite ok..

The 1st day was quite a disappointment as well, i was trying to help a lot of ppl to get into the industry but turns out that they were giving me a bad name. If they are not interested, they shouldn't have told me that they are and that they really love the field. When I give them the job, they promise the ppl to come but cancel off last minute. I mean, Im just trying to help.. but anyways, it doesn't affect me at all cause the bad name is not on me.. but people will avoid to hire this sorta people cause do you know how much trouble we will cause the production house if we promise to act but cancel off last minute? gosh, I mean, im an actor and I feel their pain.. please, do do do think of others before ourselves ya.... :) But the worst was this malay girl, lucky its not one of my friends which I pass to them.. she didn't even call in to cancel and worst of all, she she didn't even pick up the phone... how bad is that? She is definitely off my list... lol.. then something really disgusting happens at the Bukit Bintang Monorail station. while shooting some still pictures with the crew, I was leaning on the rails. A huge gay guy came up the stairs, I saw him and turns away cause I know im going to be in trouble if I looked. but I felt his eyes all over me.. and I took a peek.. and there he was, staring at me from head to toe and biting his lips as he passes me.. I tried to avoid contact.. hahaha... later on, Farra, the producer walked up to me and told me that she saw him looking like trying to gobble me whole... hahaha... gosh.. pls.. I respect ur decision.. pls respect mine ya.. I don't mind having gay friends.. all im asking for is for them to respect me as a straight.. or metro..

The 2nd day was a long trip down to a fishing village.. we reached at 12pm. the shoot was fun. we got to see how the fishermen lived and well, i think they usually just hang around the coffee shop during noon to have lunch.. and there is only one coffee shop.. lol.. I don't think they cook during lunch time at all... anyways, the public toilet was kinda scary and dirty and the mud under the bridge was absolutely horrible... with trillions and trillions of fly maggots crawling all over... initially i tot its sum kinda prawn or shrimps caught in the mud but when i looked closer... it was one of the worst sight... thankfully when the water rises, the small fishes ate em all... gosh.. imagine all of them survive and turns into flies... "THE ATTACK OF THE FLYING MAGGOTS" hahahaha... i mean "FLIES".... muahahaha.... the weather is really hot and stuffy out there. and what made it worst, the rain came and made the heat rise up.. but thank fully, all the shot were taken and all was well. we even made friends with the locals and have a full-fat lunch at the coffee shop.

Smiling inside out

Gosh, How can I forget a day when I sat inside a coffee house for 6hrs straight... emm... minus the minutes used to get to the wash room... :P I was really inspired by this one friend whom i find that we have a lot in common.. thanks for the Breakfast at Delifrance... if its not cause of me forgetting to pass you back your stuff... I think we won't have the chance to come out to meet and have a chat... emm... a long chatty chat... lol... hahaha... yeah, i guess I have to sweat the pastry off too after that...

Thank you so much for listening to what I have to talk bout... I really needed that.. needed to spill it out... haiz.. lately, I've been so bz with tons of stuff that I've no time to be with friends... today alone.. Im like rushing up and down all over the place... and right after I came back from Pahang... I've not stop... I think Im going to be sick soon.. but "NO!" Im not going to let myself be sick... not even for a minute or second... I'll hold it back till I go home for Chinese New Year... hahaha.... No Im not God.. but with much faith... I know I am able to achieve it. hmm... with what I went through just now in KL... gosh.. I had to walk under the rain and into cold shopping centers... all soaked up... well, I almost fainted in KL due to fatigue I guess.. and definitely lack of sleep.. with me sleeping on my table while typing last night.. i think, I've pushed myself a bit too far...hahaha.... but much to achieve... no time to even take a breather.. I had to search the whole of sungai Wang, Low Yat, Time Square, Pavillion and finally, KLCC within 2hrs and under the heavy rain... for a Video Camera which I will use for my short Films. I had to rush back cause Someone asked me to rush back to settle some pathetic phone line issue... anyways.. lets not talk bout something which disappoints me... so yeah.. I've a full day schedule tomorrow again...

emmm...
to all my friends... Im sorry that i've been a little too busy with my schedule and have not had the time to socialize with you all... know this, being with you all, seeing every1 of you with a smile will always be my motivations to keep going... seeing the sets of sparkling teeth with quickly brighten up my day even if Im to live no more the very next minute... I appreciate every1 of you all who are sincere and caring... and knowing that you will always be there when I fall brings a great warmth to my heart... I really really wanna thank you all and Pray to God that all YOUR DAYS WILL BE BLESSED!

And to Charlene Meng... Yes, I hope that we can chat again but this time, I will zip up so you will tell me your story... I've been too chatty... lol

An Iranian Experience

180808 - yes.. finally... im blogging what Im doing today... lol.. Well, woke up early due to a movie reading in Ukay Perdana.. Its for my role as "Pembelah Langit" in Raja Muhkris' "Ransan" ... as usual, I love to go early so I can settle down and rest a bit before I start off... But since I was really early today, so I decide to hang bout KLCC and finally taste the Iranina Food which I've been dying to try since my college moved to Yap Kwan Seng..

Its located at the food court inside the Avenue K... actually, u have to go to the concourse level... if you can't find it... just head to the KLCC LRT station side and head towards where all the food is... you wont miss it... and If you see a scenery as such I've took down as below... then you are on the right track...

I ordered Khorsht Gheime which is split pea stew in English. this dish actually comes with a plate of rice cook in Iranina style.. The stew is sourish with a hint of sweetness.. it's actually made from tenderly prepared beef (it's absolutely tender... unbelievably tender), of course the split peas and potatoes in tomato puree. The Iranian told me its something similar to the Indian Dall. Lucky I trust my instinct today and gave it a go... and it turns out to be a 4* dish.. its absolutely worth the try... oh... not to forget... the rice is splendid.. its cook in a way that you can actually feel every grain seperated.. I have a Iranian friend who told me how they cooked it... bt I have already forgotten... lol... and the best part is... its at a reasonable price...

Khorsht Gheime with rice - RM5.50
Iranina Tea - RM1.00

The entrance to the food court... its hard to miss with all those bright stars....

The name of the stall.. Shiraz Food..

The selection of Iranian Dish

The young lady you will find serving the food... did I mentioned that they have very good customer service??

The splendid rice.... gosh.. don't b fool by the outlook... its actually very delicious..

and the Split Pea stew... look at the portion... :P

And all this for only RM5.50

Its totally crowded today... mayb its lunch time or mayb its due to the heavy rain...

Check the crowd out... gosh... i was lucky I had a seat after I ordered..

there are numerous stalls here.. bt I tried a couple and never came back... bt starting from today.. I think Im coming back for more Iranian food...
