Gaspari Nutrition MyoFusion

well, Gaspari Nutrition came up with a new tech and flavour for its famous Protein Blend, MYOFUSION. So I got a hold of 1 to give it a go. I've used the previous one and I love it.. heck, i came back again and again to use it...

so I got the Chocolate Mint. I would say it's one of the worst tasting flavour I've tried so far.. not the worst but pretty bad as well as the texture. It doesn't feel as if it's protein.. More like a smoothie texture.. And I don't taste mint at all... bad combination.. lol.. the mixability is not too bad.. just don't pour the powder into moist shacker.. its' gonna build up like a paste.. bt other than that, it mixed very well..

the protein base is similar.. other than feeling full longer I've not much comments on anything else cause I can't feel it... but recovery is good.. absorption is good..

well, according to Gaspari, they add in a fast acting whey hydrolysate... and with 4 hrs anabolism quality... u can't go wrong... well, i do feel full almost towards 4 hours and maintained my muscle metabolic rate tat long... feeling warm and awesome... lol

i would recommend Myofusion as a good blend.. bt don't ever go for the chocolate MINT!!! ish...

FitnessPro Super Whey

Finally got down to blog bout the 1st protein i took after going dry for 7mths. Well, it has been a big thing here since it got onto the malaysian shores cause of its reasonable price. What could go wrong with a 5lbs Whey going at RM170 - RM180. Furthermore its a 25g protein per scoop without any sugar.. that's right folks, its sugar free whey protein. plus the advantages of extra vitamins and BCAA, its a definite bargain.

FitnessPro Super Whey. One look at the packaging, its like some cheap protein but probably tat's the reason its cheaper. Cause they spend less on the marketing, design and packaging... lol. it's not at all attractive on the shelves compared to the rest of the other products like VPX, Gaspari Nutrition, MuscleTech... etc..

So how does it taste like? well, the taste is moderately fair. I had chocolate and it does taste a little different bt I don't see any problem is pouring it down my throat. The mixability is pretty good. It doesn't clump up bt there's some residue left each time i emptied my shacker.. it looks like some choc chips... tiny ones... bt anyway, as long as it doesn't clump up.. who cares... well, as it's visibly printed "SUGAR FREE" it doesn't taste at all like "SUGAR FREE" lol... its a little sweet.. well, probably cause i don't take sugar no more so its more prominent to me. other than that, its quite a nice product. It doesn't give me much gas nor made me feel sick after having it before my workout.

its a fair supplement recommended to those who are on a budget :)

Gaspari Nutrition Anavite

Supplements and nutrition is a very important aspect in our quest for healthy living... trust me, i've tried it out and taken the toll. Without much vitamins and minerals out body just can't take the impact and torture we throw at it be it in the gym or outside on out everyday life. Even when you walk from your room to the washroom, you risk injuries to your hip, knee and ankle bones. The Impact from the activities would cause wear and tear if we don't take care of it properly.

I've used tons and tons of supplements be it from the shelves or from direct sales. And all of them have their strength and weaknesses. I still use every single brand i can get a hold of but of course after much analysis and studies of what i need at the very moment and in future to come. the most common vitamin i use is the Vitamin C and B-Complex (full)

Right now I'm using a hardcore version which is from Gaspari Nutrition, The Anavite. Do not be fooled by the brand itself as it's not just for bodybuilders. If you read the supplement facts, it has got all the daily vitamins we need packed with some extras which we would not have taken in if it's not included in the pack such as the Beta-Alanine, L-carnitine and L-Tartrate... will blog more on why is all these important as well... i've only left 10 minutes to leave the house so i won't be late for work... lol... iv been a pretty bz lately at work with 7 days full and most days 16hrs of work for peanuts OT allowances... talk bout employees rights in the 3rd world country.... anyways... don forget the vitamins, mineral and supplements intake... its troublesome, but its worth all the trouble... choa..

Side Lateral Raise

The Side Lateral Raise is a great workout for the side deltoids which is nevertheless a common word among those who are experienced bodybuilder. Bt as always there are definitely numerous method to deliver this exercise.

I started off with what we call "FULL REP" whereby you lift the weights all the way parallel to your shoulders. Of course, using this method, you can only use a lighter dumbbell. any heavier would cause you to cheat too much into relying on your back and traps. But I never seem to feel that satisfied pump on my side deltoids. There is always a weight transfer, too much on the traps half way through. most of the time, it's around the 45° that i started feeling my traps coming into action. but then I was lucky to stumble upon an article on a newly researched method of pulling off the side lateral raise. Which of course, to many is called a "HALF REP" but not going all the way instead gives u the burning sensation after a full set. And furthermore, I'm a living proof and my clients saw the results in less than a week after using what I taught them.

Starting Motion

Ending Motion

And of course, there are lots of other side laterals in the market. There's the Y Lateral Raise, Square Lateral Raise, The X Lateral Raise.... but I find this one works for me :P Ignore the scary face though... hahaha

Here is how I do it in a Monstrous Rep Sets

GNC L-Arginine 500

Well, most of the time our N.O. Supplements supply 2000mg of these babies but since i've not been working out at the gym, i decide to give these babies a go. Famous for its "Cousins" who penetrated into the world of bodybuilding through "MuscleTech, Gaspari Nutritions...etc" L-Arginine is a type of Amino Acid which helps to increase N.O. synthesis, reduces healing time of injury, hasten repair time of damaged tissues and decrease blood pressure. But one word of advice, I've checked a lot of websites and logs and non have failed to inform everyone to "NOT TAKE AFTER A HEART ATTACK"

I've just taken 2 tabs for the time being.. today's the 3rd.. it's a little costly buying at GNC but right now, there is no one selling it or even supplying this raw "L-Arginine" .. as I was saying, most of them are sold blended with other ingredients... so I'll see how things goes from here...

This bottle here don't supply much @ 500mg per tab and the prescription says 1 tab per day. so don't over dose just yet if ur very new to all this kinda supplements. I think it's much too light for my case since i've been using the likes of "Gaspari Nutrition Superpump 250, VPX Shotgun V3, Nutrex Hemorage".... but i'm still sticking to the dosage stated....

Nitric Oxide - the NOS for the body

During my training for the "Hottest Hunks in Malaysia", I've tested lots of supplements and enhancers for bodybuilding aid. From Protein (the usual suspect) to Diuretic products. Out of these few products is the Nitric Oxide. I went bout with the "Gaspari Nutrition's Superpump 250" 1st and later changed to "VPX's Shotgun V3" back to back.

(Not a good idea as you are suppose to cycle it for at least a month to clear it out of your system)

Anyways... Lets talk bout Superpump 250 1st as that is the 1st product I tried. according to the prescription, take 1 scoop per serving for at least 1 week to get ur body accustom to the product before you take 2 scoops per serving. Well, what it does is hype up your metabolism, getting more blood and oxygen through your veins and into your muscles. Due to pump, a lot of people get very jittery and restless which makes it hard for them to breath and well, the usual signs of a ultra-high metabolism kid :P lol... but anyways, as my body adapt to drugs pretty quickly (Not a good issue) i went with 2 scoops per serving on the 3rd day :P ...... and so, i felt really pumped and hyped up from the 2 scoops and had more concentration during my workout. i can feel blood gushing through my veins on each pump and saw my veins and muscles expanded even on the 1st serving which was only 1 scoop. (Aikz.... well, i already had a lot of veins all over my arms and well..... i got more... some checkered ones too now) :S

After meeting up with the previous hunks and had a couple of advices regarding their past-year experiences, they introduced me to another N.O. product, Shotgun V3. well, im suppose to cycle after I finished my superpump250 but competition was nearing so I went round the corner and got myself a tub. according to them, this product has more pump even with 1 scoop (Recommended by VPX). The result was awesome compared to Superpump 250. even with one scoop I can feel the "Hulk" trying to break free. My 1st scoop got me puking in the washroom from over-training and yet, i've still the energy to pump some more. But knowing that my body couldn't take any more punishment, I went bout with a couple more pumps before I retire for the day

(And for your info, I train 5 hrs straight on full intensity a day, 6 times a week *2hrs on 1 body part *2 body part split program with around 1/2 abs everyday after main exercise and 1/2 cardio on the bike)

so I would recommend the newbies to try superpump 250 if you have not tried any of the N.O products or Hardcore Metabolism enhancer (Having "Hardcore" on the label doesn't mean its Hardcore) and for the more advance to get the Shotgun and start hunting (Remember to cycle at least a month after a tub)

Taste wise, I would say.. its better than NANO X9 :P
