Chinese New Year 08 - Miri

08.02.08 - 2nd day of chinese new year... well, its been a tradition for any chinese to visit friends and extended families during the 1st few days of CNY... well, partly because the government only gave us chinese that much days for our holiday :P so... we went out on the 2nd day to visit a few friends... mostly my dad's and brother's friends since i've not contacted much of my old classmates... lol... think they think im dead already...lol... anyways.. we went to a couple of house and one of the most interesting ones is the house of Mr Tan, my brother's colleague.. an assurance agent manager.. a very successful person who can definitely make big catch in a day.. and the other is the house of one my sister-in-laws friends.. :P i've got it all on pic..

Lion dance convoy... its a tradition for all the school to send out their team to round up money to support the school

remind me of my younger days... emm... i never join the lion dance.. just tat.. seeing these kids makes me realize how lucky i was to finish my high school.

Mr. Tan's house.. a collection of the finest tea.. and tea-pots... as well as all the accessories.. :) tea serving techniques... not easy to master... :P

got my skin peeled off.....

20.04.08, sun - it was a bright morning... emm.... not too sure exactly.... bt... i think so... anyways... i was suppose to wake up at 5am to prepare to head down to dataran merdeka for a job briefing... bt.. i work till wee hrs in the morning... tat i din managed to wake up in time, instead, i woke up at 9am... so i missed the briefings... anyways... i had another seminar to go to at 10am... lucky i caught my friends at home so i got him to send me to the LRT station...

i was runnin mad when it all happened... just bout to reach the turning point to head up to the escalator.. i ran too fast and almost over shot... so i hung onto the pillar and swing myself back... my positioned lowered... and so i sprung up and "WHAM!" din't notice the steel handle and ran right into the sharp edge of it..... i managed to peel off a strip of my skin bt i was in such a rush tat i just ran and bear the pain up till i reach the Train... ouch...!! hurts like helllllllllllll!!!!!!! but i was train to bear the pain till appropriate time.... :S

My injured shoulder, the skin just peeled off on the spot...

A visit from a distant close friend...

lol... emm.. was suppose to post tis one up bt i was so busy right after i uploaded the pictures tat i totally forgotten i haf had this post lining up.... well.... I've always love visits from friends... especially close ones... and my camera is nvr far away...... this one here is a visit from TseTow and Jody from Brunei... and an unexpected visit from an old long lost friend who used to play basketball wit me... wee kee

The menu... the price is quite reasonable compared to otr places in KL

Interesting to be havin western food at tis sorta environment... :P usually these place offer better taste compared to the classier places... lol
