weekend shoot

Took my time off from the gym to relax my muscles so I can come back to pump fuller. I took 3 days off to carbo load. which ended up with 1.5kg loss ... hmm... bt i look a lot better with this size...

I kinda like this shot.. looks like its snapped out of a film.. muahaha.... gangster movie pula....

well, last but not least... im trying out a little artistic photography... c how well my muscle cope with lighting and the lens... if im camera friendly....

enjoy

Side-step for a modeling shoot.

ANNY SOO Photography

I was invited to the Miri Photography Society's Annual Dinner on the 16 Jan 2011. And so I got my friends from Brunei to join in the fun. Bol and Wan. I've worked with Bol as a personal trainer previously in Bandar and Wan is Bol's student in bodybuilding. Well, Wan is awesomely conditioned cause he's competing in less than a month from the shoot so he has already started his cutting phase.

Standing next to Wan during the shoot. Look at his ripped abs and a 26 inch waist with 55kg weight. hahaha....

3 of us with me on the left, Wan in the middle and Bol on the right. Bol is massive compared to Wan and I. Well, the whole choreography was done very last minute as both of them only arrived in the afternoon on the day of the shoot.

Top 10 winning shot on the night, even top 4 :P not cause of my muscles but cause of the photography skills by Tan Sheih Yen

I love this shot, in fact I used it as my Facebook Profile Picture. Only now I realized I've grown in size and bulk up since 7 weeks ago when I started my Mass routine. But I've to stop for 11 days due to this photoshoot.

I've to get my shoulder pumped up and probably thicker back.

Another artistic shot. This one is awesome as well as I can see my abs' definition.

Another great shot of me with awesome composition. and I love the veins and definitions of my delts.

DENNIS TAN Photography
A great photo from Dennis Tan who is also a friend of mine when I was working in IBS College. As a bodybuilder, we rarely see our back unless some1 decides to take a shot and give us the pic.. hahaha....

Another nice shot of me in a pose bt seems like i've forgotten to contract my abs.. lol bt the colors and lightings is awesome making my muscles stand out.

BONG CK Photography
From a photographer who's Initials is just 1 alphabet different from my own. I love this photo too as the composition is both creative and story telling.

ALAN Photography
An Artistic shot by Alan who's our handler for the event. Nice shot of my side chest pose.

Reviews can be found at

Well, i've been browsing through a lot of machine and there have been a lot of speculations regarding the new found technology in the DSLR on HD video mode. for a indie filmmaker like myself, owning a camcorder machine would most definitely burn a deep hole in the pockets. So I have to look for the alternative solutions as to shoot a short film in which a higher end results. Previously, there is the phone camera style, that didn't go so far as the limitations is still very depressing. then there is the digital still camera which is not too bad but couldn't get the kick out of it as the higher ends machine cost a bomb and there is not much to play around with the cheaper ones... then comes the handycam which im using now (Sony DCR- SX40). It's a good machine but yet, the crave for better effects still stings and the control of the dept of field is a hassle. It's not so user friendly as its all digitally controlled and it's not easily accessible. you have to pass through many functions to get to it and get out of it. I've always been dreaming of getting a higher end Camcorder as the likes of Sony Ex1, Canon A1s, Panasonic AG-HMC152.... but all these beautiful machines cost a bomb :'(

So this is where DSLR comes in with it's range of fabulous HD Monsters at a reasonable price and best part of it... you don't have to buy an expensive adapter or converter just to get that awesome dept of field compositions.... :) The lens don't come cheap but hey, who says u can't make a film with just one lens :P

Canon, a name not foreign to the likes of Photographers has now coming to the favourite list among the budget filmmakers with it's latest baby, the Canon EOS550D / Rebel T2I which is reasonably priced for the power it provides. I've read a lot of written reviews and even video logs on this Machine and it's all very positive. The only set back is that the battery tends to heat up which makes it not suitable for events or wedding shoots. but You won't really shoot a film up to 1hr on each take, do u? hahaha... but hopefully canon will solve this issue cause it would be a major + if the battery last longer :) Let's cross our fingers on that.

And definitely, this is my next dream machine :)

Hope

Found this beauty in the mist of a burnt down site near Kerinci Station.. and, yes, i've a fond for fire and flame so I took notice.. I came back the next with my trustee (late) 350D, got off the station and went straight to the burnt ground. I had to brave through some thick bushes to get in.. only to find there is a pavement leading in from the other side.. lol

anyways, as i was walking about, this little fellow captured my eyes as it stood strong alone in the mist of nothing and emptiness surrounds it as it tries to survive. Something which reminds me of myself so i took it down

In hope for ........

Some Photography I did when i still have my DSLR

Lightings + Muscles = MORE MUSCLES

Just started working out today... on back and legs... but sad to say, while working out, there came a bunch of kids from an International School with their PE teacher. He has got it all wrong and giving wrong tips to the kids and gave them a lot of dangerous moves which risk injuring their lower back or spine.... anyways... after much observation and at the right moment, i approached them and showed em the proper way to do a cable crossover for the chest which is really unnecessary for them for the time being cause they have not build their basics pectoral muscles..... anyways, gosh, pls, if ur not good enough, don't teach kids the wrong way just so u can earn cash..... haiz.....

Under Good light source :P
