Man of the House @ NTV7

I've just managed to watch this interesting drama online. Its our usual common local drama which pictures a local family and the usual crisis surrounding a family. But what makes this drama interesting to me is that I see part of my life being portrayed in the drama itself.

How the eldest son Zhen Jianyi being constantly misjudged and misunderstand by his dad, his working lifestyle (Though, Im not as lazy as he is but I've changed numerous jobs which my dad constantly reminded me that I can change 12 jobs per year and still come home for Chinese New Year and in return, i told him, not only CNY, I can even come back for Christmas, Hari Raya, Deepavali, Gawai, wesak, labour day...... n etc.... :P) and how he met a gal of his dream but after finding out that she is super rich, and all other suitors are rich and famous, came to a self realization and retreats to a corner and didn't dare to even think bout persueing her anymore because of such a big gap in society value.

The 2nd son, Zhen Jian’er's relationship with his other half who is constantly giving him problem and her distrust causing him problem at work. Her forever "always have something destructive to say" mother-in-law" and feeling of being caged.

The 3rd son, Zhen Jiansan passion for what he wants in life is being restrained by his dad who wants him to be what his dad wants of him.

Well, here is a proof of what my friends who kept on reminding me that my life is like right out of a film / drama script..... lol

well, it was quite a disappointment for this case... cause I didn't know that they were shooting the same drama as the one I've acted in before... "My Destiny" as the waiter... and so... I went all the way to Maluri, Cheras.. I did my make up at the Media Corp Studios with Sister Keng, a local veteran artist... and after I done my makeup.. we took their ride to the kajang hospital where they shoot the days episode...

when I reach the site, some of the crew were shocked to find me there and asked what I was doing there... so I told them that I was there for the role as the doc... and they were taken aback... I asked whether its the same drama.. and "yes!" was the reply... lol... so I didn't know what to do.. but they asked me to carry on.. with doubt in their face...

anyways, I didn't made the shots due to my role in the last scene was too obvious... so... they gave me a round to play around in their costume... and I managed to took couple of shots in em... and confused some of the patient into thinking that im a surgern and some veteran doc thinking that Im a new doc in the hospital... muahahahahaha.... (Evil Laugh)...

oh... another thing.... I always do my homework before any of my shootings... and I can totally memorize the dialogues.... even in chinese... bt please give me in pinyin ya... lol...

NTV7 Chinese Drama - My Destiny Episode 20, 21

190808 - yet another successful daily blog... lol... emm.. Im not playing any lead role here.. Just a small part... lol... Im just an extra in most of my Chinese Market venture. Mayb due to the fact that I don't win any idol competitions or sort... bt.. let me remind you.. winning those competitions doesn't make you a good actor... only makes u someone who is being viewed a lot on tv... lol anyways.. what I think the chinese market in malaysia lack of in the film industry.. are real dedicated actors who really act... "Not just another pretty face on the screen"

anyways... the effort I placed into my love of art... priceless... lol

Woke up at 4am today due to the fact that the agent told us to reach the location at 7:30am... and there ain't no bus from my place to the Train station that early.. usually will only come to my place at around 6:30am... and im really emphasising USUALLY!!! cause sometimes, it reaches at about 7am.. Three cheers for our ULTIMATELY EFFICIENT public transport... so i didn't wanna take the risk... and I decide to walk in the dark... all the way to the train station ... which took me an hour on face pace... luckily the sun is still sleeping... and I didn't sweat since its still very cold. from the Kelana Jaya, it took me half an hour to reach KL sentral.. which I have to walk to the monorail to hitch a ride to Imbi station... and I started walking to the place where they called the shaw Parade... well.. something funny happened.. I took a wrong turn and ended up at the other side.. and I mean.. the far side.. thinking I was on the right track... so.. my 6th sense was tingling.. and I stop a passing lady to asked for direction.. she was inching away when I asked her... I think I look like a punk.... or something dreadful.. lol... so she was kinda enough to walk me to the junction.. (she is going towards the same direction) and pointed me to the building.... so I found it in the end... yeah... !!!

So.. the shooting only started at about 8:30am or was it 9am... cant remember.. bt well... I reached at 7am... lol... now i know its possible... :P I was asked to dressed up as a waiter of the restaurant.. which is Purple Cane Tea Restaurant in real life.. Im not too sure what its called in the drama... (this restaurant serve everything in tea.. i so wanna give it a go sometime soon. bt the price is quite.. i mean quite competitive...... at a higher range.... lol) if you must know

so... emm... I have a bow tie and like... hmmm... u be the judge of it... lol anyways... I was waiter here and a badminton player at another location at Cheras.. I weren't the only extras for the day... I met this 2 gals from Tar college... they are actually the ambassadors for Nikon.. and well, I was looking for a compact camera... and they asked me to wait for the next fair... Its their 1st job.. and they managed to eat on set... lol... me on the other hand.. only had Protein drink for breakfast... lol... Im on training ok... :P not on a slimming diet...

anyways.. It ended at 3pm .. which was on time ... lol... oh well... its my 2nd step into the chinese market...I was a stuntman for my 1st chinese invation.. Anyways... eventually.... Il manage to break into the chinese market... :P
