PERFECT 10 to LIFE

A lot of people think that to obtain health one must work their ass off in the gym and pump till their knees shiver at every step, feels like crawling to their car and drives painfully home. And at home, they don't even feel like cooking or doing any house chores.. hence, the classes became an all time favourite where everyone rush from work to the fitness center to join a group of friends to tire themselves out which made them felt better. The more fatigue they felt, the more they feel their fats torched.... or is it? most of these classes works and they do burn calories... but only if proper nutrition is consumed. If not, the muscles are burnt along with the fats.. sometimes more cause our body is a biological Artificial Intelligence whereby it will do anything to keep our body in neutral state if not perfect. So the less calorie left in the body, the more it will keep fats to save it as emergency energy due to the starvation state and the more muscle it will burn as fuel for the body unless of course, you feed it. Even so, your body's mechanism has already recognized and accepted the new settings thinking you will starve it anytime soon, it will store more fats. So Classes is an awesome workout to torch the fats but without proper guidance, it might just have the opposite effects.... ANYWAYS........

.... that's not what I'm going to emphasis on today... and right here right now, I'm going to take your NO1 reason to procrastinate on obtaining health... "NO TIME" and throw it into the bin... What I'm trying to say is that you don't need a whole 2 hrs a day o 4 or even 1 hr a day to get in shape.. would you believe me when I say YOU NEED 10 :) Yeah! that's right... YOU NEED 10 A DAY TO MAINTAIN GREAT HEALTH!!!! ..... here's how......

Nasi Lemak@ Jalan 21/11B, Petaling Jaya

Well, If you don't know where it is... Its just behind your backyard... seriously... the hawker stall is like spread across this whole stretch of road in front of a coffee shop (Kopitiam) .. the tables and chairs are placed by the parking lots.. and hell yeah, there are lots of people there regardless of the hygienic issues... but anyways, In Malaysia, if its not dirty, its not good... :P anyways... just the other day, my friend, Esther told me bout a place where they serve nice nasi Lemak (Coconut milk rice) at Sea Park... oh, for your info, I didn't know that place is called sea park till she told me... lol... if you are using the Train.. stop at "Taman Paramount" how to get there? well, just follow your nose or..... or...... find the only "SHELL" petrol station there... its just behind... when I say SHELL... I literally mean, SHELL... not "Petronas" "Esso" n etc ok... "SHELL" is "SHELL"..... or... another general knowledge.... Motorbikes are refered to as "HONDA" in Indonesia.... If they tell you they ride HONDA... it means they ride a bike... it can be a Kawasaki HONDA, Honda HONDA, Suzuki HONDA... n etc.....

anyways..... back to FOOD.... so I ordered a place or Nasi Lemak Biasa (Normal) and gosh.. eventhough the crowd is massive... it took them 3-5 minutes to bring over my Food and Tea Tarik. impressive.. As always, I took a snap before I consume it... 1st was the Sunny side up... gosh.. look at that, its still in perfect form and the york is just the well done enough for you to suck up the juice... hahaha..... then the rice is well cooked and marinated with the coconut milk... not too sloogish... the aroma is fabulous... then I tried the peanuts and anchovies..... hmmm... its still very crispy and crunchy.. the way its suppose to be... and lastly... the Sambal... the most important part of any Nasi Lemak..... The Sambal is tasty and aromatic.. not too strong (so ladies, you can eat and still kiss your boys after the sambal) its not spicy .. but I guess not every1 can take hot stuff like I do.... lol... anyways...... just as I was about to finish up.. I finally saw the Cucumber hidden beneath... and its still crunchy... lol

so overall... I would say.... 4* :) worth coming even from Klang... lol...

Ops.. I poke the eggs.... :P

Shooting for Museum NEgara Short clips...

it was a 2days shoot in Pahang.. I was shock to find that there is a Villagish kinda resort in the middle of the jungle.. well, its really very village like kinda resort.. everything made out of nature.. located at Janda Baik, Bentong. its quite a distant from the main road.. if you don't know nobody who knows the place, its best not to come cause you might get lost... lol anyways, the only reason that we are there is because the Director owns the house next to the resort...

anyways, I was sleeping through the whole trip due to my fatigue from the previous shoots and casting sessions and very little sleep.... so don't ask me how to get there again... lol.. oh well, the 1st days shoot started at about 4pm.. was suppose to be there at 8am.. but they push it to 12noon.. and like every1 was coming late and all and finally started the journey to the location at 3pm... haiz, it started to rain heavily as we are about to reach the location... thought we can start early and end early.... so any how... the shoot started with "Batu Bertikam" which is a local story of a mystical stone where two warriors stab their "Keris" into a big stone due to Frustration.. I was a Palace Guard who helped the Sultan to carry his shirt during the fight scene. The shoot ended at 1am.. every1 took their shower but ... emm... I kinda didn't know that we will be in a ... emm... village like resort that they don't provide any facilities or utilities... so I didn't bring my towel... but I managed to use my shirt as my towel after the shower.. the water pressure was very weak... anyways, I slept while seated up waiting for my food to digest.. but every1 was curious as to why I slept seated up... lol.. I told them I was meditating... muahahaha....

Woke up the next day to a sunny day... but cause of the heavy rain yesterday.. the pipes broke and there weren't any water... some of the guys went to take a bath in the river nearby but I was lucky that the tank in one of the room's still half tank cause they didn't use much yesterday... I washed my face there and went to have my breakfast... "Nasi Lemak" typical Malaysian Breakfast... We shot "Awang Lembing" which is about a mystical Spear which killed 99 villages... this is the time when I was like having a leech theraphy.. hahaha... well, we were shooting at a site which is infested with spiders, crickets, and leeches.... I think its a grass spiders nest... anyways... Halfway throughout the shoot, I noticed that my leg was bleeding.. I thought I cut my self while walking but then I notice a a leech on my foot and only realized that the leech came off accidentally while I was walking throught the grasses.. oh well, I was bleeding 1/2 hr cause of that... lol

My wound after a couple of wipes.... there is a small hole where the blood kept oozing out..

The house where we have out shoot.. a very classic Malay house

Resting, waiting for the next shoot.. emm... actually waiting for the make up for the 1st shoot..

Taking picture with our very own Malaysian Veteran Actor

The Best Nasi Lemak I've tried so Far in Peninsula Malaysia

well, I've always love to come here to have my daily dosage of Nasi Lemak (Coconut milk Rice) the 1st time my friend brought me here, I totally fell in love with the Nasi Lemak... bt due to its location and distance from the place Im stayin, my friend rarely bring me there to eat... and cause i weren't familiar with all the locations yet and don't even know what is a "223" or where... So I can only crave like a pregnant lady... lol

Bt oh yeah... cause I have to go to a location which is pretty near to this beautiful landmark... I found the way to come here for this marvelous Nasi Lemak.... all you have to do is...

Take a "Putra LRT" and stop at "Taman Paramount" get off the train and head down to the bus station downstairs... there is only one bus to hop on to... so don't have to worry bout taking the wrong bus.... so... follow through and when u see a shell and right after that, a petronas follows.... its near... u will 1st see the "stamford college".... and as u get nearer.. u can see the "o'conner" building on the right, the "produa" service center on ur left... of a "Pensonic" building on the far end... remember to stop here... cause the bus will stop in from of the food court... the place is called "selera Jaya 223"

and as always, not all are nice to eat.. so don't categorize em... as there is only one stall which serves the best sambal and rice.... its the NO2 stall.... u have to walk all the way to the other end if ur taking the bus..... and if u come at night... u'll actually be served with "otak otak" a very special fish paste thingy.... lol... i just love it... bt make sure, u sit near the NO2 and the best otak otak will come to u... :P

Nasi Lemak - RM1
Otak Otak - RM0.60

just imagine... im on constant diet and when I come here, I take 2 packet..... :P lol... remember... get ur Nasi Lemak from No2 stall :P

The Pensonic complex.... from afar... press your bell now if ur in the bus...

The produa workshop....

this is how it looks like when u enter... walk all the way to the end and u'll find 002

this is the front view... the 002 is just on the left side...

Here is how it looks like... totally worth the money....

emmm... nasi lemak... usually comes with the coconut rice of course, the anchovies, peanuts, egg and sambal...

The delicious nasi Lemak bungkus...

All done with my nasi lemak

and usually u'll be served with this sorta tray.. .with the nasi lemak in it...

Here's the stall...

u can order a plate nasi lemak... and add in extra dish... bt its not RM1 anymore.. lol

The one and only..... chef...... emmm... forgot to ask for her name... lol

Smoking in a close space

There I was, sat inside one of the cafe inside summit, USJ. I was one of the 1st customers since it was still early in the morning for any stall to open. I was waiting for one of the stalls to open. I was shocked to see that there were lots of People queuing up way before the ticketing booth are bout to open. Its a cinema.. any anyways.. I walked up to one of them and they told me that its the premier of a new Indian Bollywood movie, Dasavatharam.

Anyways, there I was sitting inside the cafe.. having my Black Glutinous Rice (they have a very nice textured dessert, if ur looking for something of similarity, go to the top floor at summit, walk towards the cinema and its just beside the cinema) and a Nasi Lemak. Right before I ordered, there was this Indian guy who ordered next door.. which is of the same shop and sat in... not long after.. mayb 2 minutes.. he was like getting pissed and asking the waitress where his tea was... and said something like

"Oi! where is my tea? make my tea 1st!! Make it fast!! Make mine 1st!! fast!! fast!!" (Direct Malay translations) lol

How rude. I mean, they had just opened the shop and have not the chance to prepare anything. 2 minutes is not long.. so I didn't care bout him and continued waiting for my order to arrive.. after he is done with his breakfast, he took out a cigarette an started puffing away... in a close building... i mean, how ignorant these people can get... ish.. ish.... Malaysia Boleh...!! Memang Boleh..!!

The man who is trying to portray how Malaysian works... gosh... During Visit Malaysia year ??

Jia Yu CNY Special (Part IV)

Took some shots with my K800i inside the hall... took a rest and walk bout genting.. but when i heard some noise.. i went into the "arena of stars" and saw the rehearsal.. so y not? take a video as a memory... but its a very lousy quality video.. well... better than none rite?

well, talk bout restaurant.. the "Old Town" in genting highland taste quite all right. I tried their "Nasi Lemak Special" and the "Rendang".. both of these dish taste good. but not the coffee though. mayb i've been drinking tons of coffee lately (Im a beginner in this coffee drinking line) and i can't differenciate good coffee or bad coffee.. but the coffee is not too bad.. just can't feel the kick out of it. :P

after missing out on our lunch cause me and my other colleague went to Genting hotel to settle the accommodations and the F&B guys kinda forgotten all bout us.. anyways, he told us it was because they haven't took our orders. so the gal who was in charge of the finances pass us RM50 to go and have lunch.. and our budget per person was only RM12 - 16. so we head off towards the opposite building where all the food is and settle ourselves at the old town cafe. I wanted to sit inside but my friend wanted to try eating out in the cold.. so we got the table outside the building and ordered. The waiter was not at all friendly and polite. I wasn't so happy on that.. anyways, hunger strikes.. who cares bout the service... but i did.... sadly... anyways... so the food came and the waiter just chuck our food on the table... i was pissed but the portion was quite handsome and looks good... so i forgive him... and feasted on the food with my friend.

it was a feeling lunch at 3pm and the food and drink came to aprox. RM30.. so we r still in our budget... lol...

Sitting outsite in the cold to have our lunch. Luv the interior design of the place though. lots of wood used.

It ain't that cold actually. I wore a beanie cause i din wanna style my hair. I've got 2 beanies, 1 buff headwear and 2 bandana.

Ivan(Tawau,Sabah) a good friend met up in Genting, having his Nasi Lemak Special

While I have my Nasi Lemak Rendang

Trying to capture the miniature bikes convoys parked ride beside the sideways.

New Year 08 (Part II)

Most of what we did during our trip up to genting was describe in the (Part I) log for new year so I'm just going to keep this a short one with tons of pictures. Well, one of our passenger were extremely tired due to her trip to Thailand. She just got down the plane and came down with us to watch AVP2 and followed us all the way up hill.. so while we stop to rest somewhere along the hill, she took a nap at the back seat.

Mei Ling Sleeping so soundly. wonder did she woke up after my flash went off? I just walk off after I snap. lol

Right after that, my ol' friend Heman decide to take a nap too after Ling woke up. well, after a few tryout snaps, he was more aware of the surrounding..

Well, if u notice this two pictures, I took it in a row. Try guessing what he is trying to say.. (Hints .. Oh..... F***)

____________________________________________________________________

After a long wait, we decided that the traffic had gotten better and so we went on our journey to the top again. We parked our car in front of a towing sign which the driver thinks it wont be a problem since its a public holiday and there were numerous cars parked illegally. We went into the cafeteria and they had their share of RM6 per nasi lemak (coconut milk rice) and I had to freeze to death. There I stood next to the hot steaming pot of "Herbal Tea Egg" to keep warm but the owner came out and told me that she will charge me RM10 per hour of steam.. so I told him its too kind of him to offer such cheap service and I went to the loo. Not too long later, Kelvin wanted to buy some egg. so I stood next to it again and the owner came and jokingly rephrase the offer and I told her that since my friend is buying, Im entitled to get free steams. she chuckled.

Not all was well. We were so busy enjoying ourselves that we didn't realized that the car was towed. anyways, we managed to get our car at the price of RM100 for the towing services. They took us to our car which was quite a distance away but the driver was kinda friendly and is overly generous in sharing his experiences there. mostly obscene activities at the parking lot. hence, we got our car and decided not to put the RM100 to waste and so we went back to the hotel area to snaps some shots.

This shot was taken in the open just at the entrance of coffee bean.. hmmm.. hot coffee..

Well, If you notice my 1st log on 08 New Year, You would know how this place looked like. and not only that, there is something which you might just wanna notice... me.. look at what I'm wearing in the Genting's cold weather :P

My obsession to bring out the inner child. Well, I never used to like this sorta things. But I guess once you get older, you kinda wanna find the little boy inside which is always joyful and happy. Looked like I was trying to wreak the horse than enjoying the ride..

This is the last picture in my camera for the day and it turn out to be a good one. I had Jen snap it for me, well, after I make the necessary alterations to the settings. All she needs to do is snap. We kinda took 20 pics due to her shacky hands. lol.
