The actual shooting days we use was only 4days in actual... minus the days when the camera went hair-wire.. lol... cause i actually shot 5 - 6 times of the jumping off the wall scene due to the technical error from the camera... anyways... the editing was quite fast as we need to finish it up before end of this month to submit it... i learn a lot and not to forget, had a great time with my friends who helped out...

i will post the video soon... not too soon... bt soon enough... right after the winners are announced.. just in case they wanna disqualify me by saying that i've posted the video before... anyways.... i'll post it up on youtube to see how many hits i can get :P

im working on my 2nd project now... mainly targeting the social issue of today... targeted time "20Min" short film.. I will need more actors.. lots of supporting and features with dialogues... even the extras haf dialogues... please be inform, its still a project and i don't have the budget to pay any actors or crew yet... but if you are looking to grow with me and my friends... gain more experience in acting, shooting and producing a film... please leave me ur contact in the comment box for this log... :P ... be sure that the 2nd project will be a lot more professionally done as i'll have more production crew who are brilliant in this field....

standing on the 18th floor roof edge without any safety equipment.... well, actually we had wires... but we were so rush that we left it at home... my friend who was handling the camera had to be extra careful not to knock me with the camera which was attached to the tripod...

I had so much running scene in the film that i actually pulled my hamstring muscle due to the stress I place on them... gym, training for ransan and this film...

well, its an art film... so when i post it up... if you guys wana leave a comment.. pls add in with you own words what you understand bout the film... thanks...

Michael Wiese Masterclass

Creative strategies and Multi-Market Thinking Masterclass
by
Michael Wiese

Wow, It was 2 amazing days of seminar from Michael Wiese, who is a well known Producer, Director, Author and Publisher. Totally, anyone who loves acting and producing film must not missed this great opportunity... oh well, if you are reading this blog now and didn't attend the course... you just miss this great opportunity... lol... anyways, the only reason he is down here is because he is going over to bali for his next film "Bali Brothers"

Michael Wiese and Me after the masterclass... he's a very nice fellow.. mind my haggard look.. can't shave due to the conti' of my own short film...

As usual, I like to be on the site really early just to reduce the risk of mistakes.. and to relax.. well, i reach the location really early.. its at Finas, next to the National Zoo.....anyways, thinking that i was the earliest... bt some1 beat me to it... so I sat down and chatted with him till the rest of the other people came... We registered and supposingly, we are suppose to be given a DVD... anyways, they promised us we will get it later... so anyways, the seminar started........

halfway through, CK (Wirasiswi Director) passed a note to me asking me to come out... so i did and he ask of my help to amend some typo error on the booklets they printed.. its not that i am not willing to help.. but they got us round to the seminar to improve ourselves.. instead, they didn't make the necessary preparations and amendments before the whole thing starts... I was kinda pissed off cause I missed out quite a lot on what Michael has to offer us... so anyways... we finish up quickly and got back into the hall.... to meet up with a break... lol... and the break was totally fabulous... cause there was no lunch provided due to the fact its the Ramadhan month and our Muslim friends are fasting.. and what made it worst, the canteen was close... so we had to walk 20min to the any visible food stalls... lol... all the malay stalls were close that day...

eventually, we got back to business after lunch... but the rest of the class was smooth sail... I really enjoyed the seminar and found out a lot bout producing film, making money out of selling the film and the process of generating money during pre-post production...

not only that... the reason why I say its a great seminar was because everyone there are either a producer, director, script-writer, investors or actors..... gosh... i got so much contact out of one seminar... :P

remember guys... if there is any free seminar... just go for it... gosh, if this is UK or US... people will be flocking the halls to fight for a seat... unlike malaysians... they have to beg us to go.. feed us till our mouth... gosh... grow up... and get learning...

Due to certain censorship on some of my language... i've crossed out some of the sentences... lol..actually a whole bunch... well, u know how malaysia and freedom of speech are linked... "Free Don't speak"

Michael Wiese giving the seminar

Ike Ong, my mentor giving introductory speech

most of them left to have a break....

sleeping at kl sentral McD after training for Ransan

well, as what the title said... its just a normal day and I was required to come in for the training... i mean.. im the only chinese coming in for the training.. and I TOTALLY understand that they need to conduct the training due to the puasa month now... so the training usually starts at 10pm and lasted till 2am.. which means, the only one without a car... tats me... dont have any transport to go home... usually, if the production house requires us to come for the training for the sake of the movie, they will have to provide transport for the artist to come and go... well, that is done internationally throughtout the whole world... hmmmm.... anyways... maybe cause Im just a newbie in this industry and have not been considered by them as an artist?? hmmm... mayb... who knows.. but I know it has nothing to do with the company.. nor the director or the producer.. cause they are totally innocent... like always, a company's name is ruine by some irresponsible staff who thinks that being given a task, they rule the world.. so please don't judge the whole lot due to some inconsiderate people of the certain group... anyways... I was suppose to follow azie's car to the training and back.. but she din come.. so the next option was to follow another person who was suppose to be responsible for our wellfare... which.. she fail terribly... anyways.. i had to ask around but no one wanted to help... so the moment come.. and its time to go... I was pused to one of the artist and well... we talked bout it and he was really reluctant to send me home or to any nearby location... so i asked him politely to drop me off at KL sentral so that I can take the earliest train back home... I reached at 3am.. and waited at McD till 6am... and well... what can I say... I hope the management would trust the power and task to some1 responsible enough not to be racism discriminating... Malaysia Boleh?

How KL sentral looked like when its closed...

Prove that im there...

another prove that im at McD at 3am... due to disfunctional management skills and trusting the wrong people

waiting for the earliest train back home..

well.... last prove that im at KL sentral since 3 to 6am

trying to catch some sleep before i head over to my next shoot..

the backflip

ouch...ouch....and arrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhhh is a common sound when you try to learn a backflip alone without a coach or proper guide... iv done a backflip before... like 10 yrs or more.. cant remember.. bt only once.. and never did it ever again as i believe that martial art is all bout practicalism... not fancy moves and moved into grounded moves... and never touched it... but due to the next film im going to be involved in (Ransan), i need to learn how to do a proper backflip.. and fast..... and well, its not like im complaining or wat but.. hey Komeng, if u keep on bragging bout how good u are and how great a coach you are... how come you are not coaching properly by giving good proper advices to me, the one and only chinese in the film... :S oh.. is it cause im a chinese? lol... oh well, wouldn't wanna say so much.. just in case the ISA is up my ass like the Teresa kok case... wrote a polite letter asking the mosque to lover down the volume just a little so the rest of the other race could get a little more sleep... and she was arrested by the ISA which was formed to protect the country... MALAYSIA... not MALAYsia.... anyways.... not going there.... DANGEROUS!!!!

so anyways.... just a day practice and I've got...
neck pull
shoulder pull
elbow pain
knee pain
headache.... due to the many lands on my head and face... lol
and bleeding knee cause I was usin a mattress.. i landed hard and the spring pierce into my skin... only notice when i found a patch of blood on the mattress .... lol

i took off my knee support... and well.. haf to stop the blood by pressing on the wound...

not easy...... not easy....

if you are so damn great a mentor... give me the proper guide... gosh... some ppl only know how to brag...

Speak No Evil, See No Evil, Hear No Evil

Just a couple of days ago... my friend called me up and told me the funniest news of all time.. are you all prepared for this?? hang on to your seats as I believe its going to blow you all away....

on September 4th, 2008,
Dr Halimah Ali, Selangor Executive Councillor
quoted

"We talk about Sichuan, Nargis, but here is the worst disaster that has hit our nation this year and yet nobody is aware of this"
*Malay Mail pg 2* She was mentioning bout the Kapar storm which affected 5000 occupants from 1500 houses... and in paragraph 14 *Miraculously, only one man was said to have suffered minor injuries*

here is the statistic of the Sichuan Disaster 2008
Figure as on July21,2008
69,197 are confirmed dead, including 68,636 in Sichuan province,
and 374,176 injured,
with 18,222 listed as missing

for more info... please google the Sichuan Earthquake....

as you can see.. miraculous 1man minor injury against the 69197 death, 374176 injury and 18222 missing... and yet, a well educated Malaysian has the nerves to quote that we have the worst disaster which was not being mentioned by the world. I asked the world not to categorize or sterotype every Malaysian because of these few as I've no idea where they came up with this Inteligent idea. Not all Malaysian are as smart as these few... Its No Joke!!

(It is a sad case that the disaster has fall upon us on the 1st day of Ramadan in the Muslim calendar, 1st Sept 2008. Our Decades of peace without any natural disaster has been disrupt by the twister. I would like to ask the world to pray for Malaysia and the people affected by this tragedy so that their pain and difficulties would be eased and no such disaster will fall upon us ever again. it is not the worst disaster of the world this year or any other years... bt a disaster is still a disaster and I would pray for the people affected and I hope so does every Malaysians too)

Addressing the community

One fine day, I was walking down a path in Kuala Lumpur with my EOS350D to find sum nice shots for my photography competition.... and emm.... i came upon some interesting sight and so.. I took a couple of shots... well... the community have to do something bout the open rubbish dumpings... its going to make Malaysia look bad... :(

I took a lot of pics but only going to blog tis one up... cause im lazy.. not cause its the best of the shots... muahahahahahaha....... evil laugh...

oh... tis is just something I threw in for the tourist... Malaysia is sure a beautiful place... just check out the interior of KLCC... :P...... muahahahahahahaha.... evil laugh..

another "SENSIBLE" act

well... picture tells a thousand words... you be the judge... what does this picture tells you?? Im not going to say anymore.. as Im really tired of blogging all this Overly, Extremely ETHICAL Acts our fellow MALAYSIAN does... cheers...

Nasi Ayam Cili Kering at Kerinci LRT Station

Well, I was down at Kerinci to snap some shots around the corner... I've never been there since I got here... emmm... actually, I've never got off at this station if it were for a mission.. :P lol... anyways... I got a bit hungry and.. well... i din wanna go to the gym in an empty stomach.. so I walk around the building which was link to the station... a great big round.. and I thought their Food court would be a huge place.. ended up with only 3 stalls.. so I din eat there... I walk down the path.. pass a restaurant and a mamak... and ended up here.. cause I saw "Nasi Special De Fusion"... tot its sum speciality food... so I sat down.. but.. only to find its not a dish... lol... and I was sitting next to tis couple of ladies.. and saw what they were eating was kinda "a drool over for".. so I ordered what they had... "Nasi Ayam Cili Kering" which is Dried chilli chicken with rice.. it cost about RM5 .. which is fairly reasonable....

the ingredient....

Of course... Dried chilli, Ginger, carrot, spring onion, and onion stir fry with chicken in spicy soy sauce...

the dish was a fab.. the chicken is tender, the rice is a bit off though bt it was ok.. noting to complain bout... the sauce was quite spicy(I LIKE) with just the right amount of salt to accommodate to the tasteless white rice.. definitely worth to try....

definitely a strong 3*

I din wanna look too obvious in trying to snap a pic of the shop with my DSLR.. so I took the menu instead

The deco is not too bad.. what do u expect out of a restaurant under a train track..

The view of the rice in full

and an artistic approach... lol
